Privacy policy
The short version
This is a static reference site. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no tracking scripts written by us. The mileage calculator runs entirely in your browser: the numbers you type are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
What is collected
Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don't receive or store this data ourselves; Cloudflare's handling is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Email. If you write to us (for example, corrections@mileagerates.com), we receive what you send and use it only to respond and fix the issue. We don't add you to lists.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. If advertising or analytics are added in the future, this page will be updated first, with details of what is set and how to opt out, and any consent requirements that apply in your region will be honored.
Third-party links
Pages link to government sources (irs.gov, gov.uk, canada.ca, ato.gov.au) and occasionally to other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
The site is general-audience tax reference material and is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no information from anyone.
